CIS201 Course Project

1.  Although i somewhat dislike social media, I tried to keep an open mind when taking this class, And I have to say that is was enjoyable, and not so bad. I may have made numerous accounts on many social media sites that i'm probably never going to use again,  But It did teach me about how vast and open social media is and how much it has progressed through the past few years. One of my favorites has to be, a unique way to make presentations that i will differently remember and use the next time i have to create a presentation for something. The main thing I learned in this class is how much social media has grown and continues to grow. Maybe someday in the future, speaking to someone in person will be obsolete.

2.  If you scroll down, on the right side of this page, you will see a talking cartoon avatar. That is called a Voki, made on Voki is an educational tool that allows users to create their very own talking character.

3.  Google Docs is a very useful tool for collaborating with others and for communication. One feature of Google Docs, is the "Slides". This is basically a simple PowerPoint type presentation maker, and of course, other people can join in and work on it with you. Or, you can change the share setting to what suits you.
Here is an example. This is a presentation I made earlier in this class:

4.  Twitter. Yes Everybody knows, but what is it?
Twitter is a free social networking microblogging service that allows registered members to broadcast short posts called tweets. Twitter members can broadcast tweets and follow other users' tweets by using multiple platforms and devices. Tweets and replies to tweets can be sent by cell phone text messege, desktop client or by posting at the Twitter website.

If you look to the top-right of this page, you will see my twitter feed.
My twitter page is here:

5.  This is a Mindmap to all my social media accounts:

A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. A mind map is often created around a single concept, drawn as an image in the center of a blank landscape page, to which associated representations of ideas such as images, words and parts of words are added. In this case, A mind map can be used to organize your social media accounts. There are many websites to use when making one, But I created mine on .

Thank You.

New post for CIS 201

Hello, My name is Brandon, and this is a blog i once made to get people to signup for On prizerebel, you complete tasks for points, and use points on goods, instead of money (I usually spend mine on Amazon gift cards). It really is legitimate, I'm not ripping anyone off here. I only use the "WoW time card" thing to attract people here, but you can get many things from Prizerebel.

I don't do the prizerebel thing to much these days, but like 2-3 years ago, it was much easier to make money off of.

 Anyway, Thanks for coming!
